Hi everyone, it’s been awhile since I’ve listed. I hope you enjoy Miss Melody Sue. She is a keeper!!! She’s a sweet early sock doll. Aged to primitive perfection! Early look stitched face and wearing an old black sock on her head for hair. Sock arms and legs with little aged holes showing the old cotton batting. Her body is an early style“A”pattern. Her dress is some of theeeee very best early brown calico you will find and I’ve pulled her dress up around her neck with a bit of early brown cotton sock, which I found inside an old rag ball. And underneath is her old bloomers and skirt pulled together with a piece of old brownish cloth. You will not be able to tell this gal from an original early doll. So much detail! Melody Sue is 13.5” with a dress drop of 15” and will come to you with her name, signed by me, numbered and dated on her back.
