Ebay has decided that you would rather see cheap, mass produced jewelry (much of it foreign made and misrepresented as Native American) rather than high quality and/or unique items and intentionally disadvantages the very best items (if you use the Best Match search) by generally hiding the best items in the bottom half of the search pages so that you'll probably never see them. If you want to see the best quality Native American jewelry or any other category of item the way you used to, then you must customize you search setting to "Ending Soonest" which used to be the default search setting before ebay introduced "Best Match." "Best Match" definitely isn't best if you're a collector or a discerning buyer who prefers quality over junk. Granted, when she introduces an item, she makes a large quantity so when I find a great new item like this gentlemen's onyx ring, I know it could six months or even a year before I see them again. So if you've been looking for a reasonably priced Effie C men's ring, don't dither around and miss it because these truly are few and far between! It's her top of the line men's black onyx ring. Though it seems as if rumors are always swirling around about Effie C's health and eyesight, her health and eyesight are excellent, and she still continues to produce as prolifically as she always has. In fact, I recently had a marvelous Mexican meal next to Effie and her family in Gallup's most popular Mexican restaurant. There are also rumors that Effie's actually retired and that her children make the jewelry and use her hallmark or even that she's in a nursing home. Also not true. Effie makes all her jewelry and her children make and sign their jewelry. The only thing Effie fans have to worry about is the counterfeit fakes coming in from the Pacific Rim as well as from unethical sellers in the southwest who should be horse whipped. These phony pieces are copies not only of Effie's work but other prominent artists as well. So if the price seems too good to be true on a name artist item, I'd think twice, three, or even four times before buying it if care about authenticity and preservation of an art form. The size sterling silver midnight black onyx ring features Effie's highly symbolic trademark inlaid genuime Italian red coral-eyed snakes coiled around two onyx stones. This substantial ring measures about 1 and 1/8th" tall and about 1" wide. The single shank is 1/8th" wide and 1/8th" thick. Before checking out, check the matching Effie C men's watch and bracelet!
