New Megatouch Maxx or Force Power Supply
If you have a Megatouch Maxx or Force, and the game isn't working at all, there is a good chance that the problem is the power supply. While the "large" style PSUs (found in all XL and some Maxx games) are pretty reliable, the "small" power supplies aren't. In fact, if you get 2 years out of one, you are doing well. The problem with these isn't actually the power supply. It's the fan. The manufacturers of these PSUs obviously found the cheapest fan that they could, and they don't last very long at all before the bearings are shot. Well, the fan eventually goes, and that causes the power supply to overheat. This sends out erratic voltages, causing the game to lock up, and potentially taking out other components like the motherboard. Soo, if you've got a Megatouch Maxx or Force, and it has the small PSU, check your fan. If it isn't spinning, I'd either put a fan in it, or buy a new PSU ASAP!
