This is the newly popular Merlinite or Merlin Stone. It is named in reference to the legend of Merlin and King Arthur. It is said that Merlin has been locked away in a crystal cave until Arthur returns; then Merlin will emerge to advise Arthur in his ancient capacity.
Metaphorically, Merlin represents the Higher Self and Arthur represents the noblest strivings of the conscious mind. Intuitive sources suggest that this stone awakens the Higher Self and establishes contact between the Higher Self and the conscious mind, attuning one to one's sacred purpose.
Geologically, Merlinite or Merlin Stone is an agate or opalized quartzite with manganese inclusions. In addition, this stone is found in places of very high Earth energy, such as vortexes and ley lines. The energy of that place is imprinted in the manganese inclusions. The combination of silica quartz and manganese interact energetically to awaken one's inner Merlin and Arthur.
I was very fortunate to get a few merlinite beads from an associate. Each one is shaped like a small thick disk, about a 3/16 inch long and 5/16 inch in diameter. There are many people who need merlinite, and I wanted to make these beads go as far as possible. So I've made up a collection of one of a kind fashion jewelry, each featuring a merlinite bead, along with other synergetic gemstone beads.
The other beads are ruby, sunstone, and tourmaline quartz. Ruby and sunstone are the "dynamic duo" which enhance your energy and your aura. They bring luck and protection from that which would drain your energy or distract you from your higher purposes. Tourmaline is also a very protective stone, and is said to be helpful in protecting you from radiation from electronic devices such as cell phones, PDA, computers, etc. This offer is for a mini lanyard charm.
This item could be used to accessorize a cell phone, PDA, zipper pull, etc. The cord is black hemp. This item was handcrafted in the USA of foreign and domestic materials. Main picture is representative; you will receive one item randomly selected from those shown in the second picture.
Since each of these are handcrafted, no two are exactly alike. I was very lucky to get a few merlinite beads, and I've made up these mini-lanyard charms from them. I don't know when or if I'll ever get any more, so if this item calls you, get it now!
