Here we have a beautiful handmade Merrythought Bear that was manufactured in England I believe in the 60's or 70's. ( The yellow Merrythought label sewn onto this bears foot was only used between 1960 and 1980).
He has shiny brown and black eyes with fabric eye lids, cotton dungarees with matching cap, a shaved muzzle with a black hand sewn nose, is fully jointed, is made from pure dark golden mohair and has an attached teddy and blanket in his arms.
He has the famous yellow Merrythought label sewn onto his right foot and has his original tag ( this is not attached to bear).
This bear would make a lovely addition to any toy collection.
