This software is brand new, never been installed, never registered, never activated. You will be able to download any Windows updates including the latest service packs when they are released.  Since this is a full version, you CANNOT upgrade your previous version of Windows.  You will have to do a complete install which includes formatting and partitioning your hard drive.  No floppy disk is required for boot up.  The DVD is bootable, all you need to do is insert the DVD into the DVDROM drive and follow the installation instructions.  This OEM software is intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to another PC once it is installed. The purchaser of this software is required to comply with the terms of the System Builder license, including the responsibility of providing all end-user support for the software.
