System works fine. DVD drive will read discs but occasionally freezes during gameplay. At least that is the case for my old XBox games that were on the Microsoft compatibility list. Believe that the drive or lens may have been shifted during shipping. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or resources to attempt opening the system. I rented a copy of NCAA 10 for XBox 360 and it played fine. Worked even better using the Install to hard drive option. Unfortunately, it does not have the hard drive installation option for old XBox games, which includes our copy of Disney Cars that the little kids love to play. So, we'll keep the original XBox system and part ways with this 360 system that seems to work fine with 360 games but may need some adjustment to the DVD drive for the backwards compatibility feature. Also was able to connect to Live and downloaded a few demos - they all worked fine on the system as well.
