For auction, a pair of mid-century modern Roselane, California art pottery "Aqua Marine" pattern vases. According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery, Aqua Marine was produced between 1945-1952 and was one of Roselane's most successful and popular lines. Both 8.5" vases have crazing and one has chipping on the top and base as shown. The other is free of chips or cracks. In-mold "Roselane 28" mark on both. Also one vase has in-mold artist signature "C. Durrell" and "6-64"; the other has artist's initials and "7-64" in black marker.  Fabulous!
