Millbillillie Meteorite - 65.3 grams

  • Millbillillie, Wiluna district, Western Australia
  • Fell October, 1960
  • Stone - Achondrite, Eucrite (EUC)

 

A fireball was seen in October of 1960 and pieces were assumed to have fallen, but no search was initiated until 1970.  The total weight eventually recovered is at least 25kg.

This specimen weighs 65.3 grams.  It measures 47 mm by 40 mm by 25 mm.  All measurements taken at widest points.
