CONDITION:

This used lens is in good physical condition, showing a couple signs of wear. There are some scuffs and scratches on the lens barrel and the rubber grip.

The glass is clean, scratch and fungus free, with only a couple dust particles inside which will not affect the optical performance at all. Functionally, this lens is in great working order.

The focus is smooth and the aperture blades are fast and free of oil.

COMPATIBILITY:
This lens is for use with all Minolta AF cameras, including the Maxxum DSLR series and can be used with Sony Alpha DSLRs. Please check for compatibility prior to bidding.

IT IS CERTAINLY FAR SUPERIOR TO THE NEWER LENSES MINOLTA OFFERED IN THIS FOCAL RANGE, INCLUDING THE DSLR 18-70 KIT LENS WHICH CAN'T EVEN COMPARE WITH THIS CLASSIC BEAUTY.

WITH THE BRAND NEW RELEASES OF ALL THE SONY DSLR'S (A100, A200, A300, A350, A700 & THE A900) PRICES ARE GOING UP REALLY FAST ON ALL OF THE GOOD MINOLTA LENSES. IN ADDITION TO INCREASED PRICING, IT IS GETTING HARDER TO FIND GOOD QUALITY ONES

It has clean glass and is Great condition.
The barrel has some small scuffs due to normal use.

Functional Issues/Problems: none

There is no oil, mold or fungus on the lens. The glass is clean front and back. The focus and aperture operate very smoothly

Functionally everything works just as it should.
