MINOXIDIL PRECAUTIONS

 

Side effects can be minimized by keeping dosage amounts to the recommended 1 ml per treatment, 1-2 times per day. The most common side effect is itching of the scalp, all other side effects are very rare and uncommon.

Azelaic Acid DHT Blocker

 

Azelaic acid (1,7-heptanedicarboxylic acid) is a dicarboxylic acid found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley. Azelaic is a very weak acid, even much less then that of vinegar. Azelaic acid is typically found in the human diet in trace amounts, and is not considered to be a carcinogenic substance. It is currently used as a prescription medication under the name Azelex, to treat mild to moderate acne. Azelaic acid may also be used as an excellent hair growth stimulant.

 

The enzyme 5-AR (5-Alpha Reductase, both type I and II) convert testosterone to DHT (Dihydrogen Testosterone), the reason the hair follicle weakens and hair is lost!!!
