Rare Mint 1969 COUNTRY / MOVIE SONG from "BUTCH CASSIDY & THE SUNDANCE KID" 7" 45rpm on SCEPTER Records ( # 12265 ) by B. J. THOMAS ( born Billy Joe Thomas on 8/7/42 in Hugo, Oklahoma... Raised in Rosenberg, Texas... First band was the Triumphs that formed in high school.). Record is in Near Mint condition ( rec / slv ) and plays just like new condition, record surface is clean and shiny... Comes in original SCEPTER factory sleeve with no marks or writing, a very cool collectable... record labels have no marks or writing either side.  Really nice condition!

THE MOVIE "BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID" FEATURED THIS SONG!
( b-side is a nice soul-oriented country ballad! )

Side One:    "RAINDROPS KEEP FALLIN' ON MY HEAD" - B.J. reached #1 with this monster in November, 1969... probably due to the enormous success of the movie.

Side Two:    "NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD" -  Kinda soulish country ballad.
