Mint condition, no pages creased or damage or page discoloration. Pristine like it just came out of the Gov't/ Aero printing office in 1953. This is an orignal U.S. Dept. of Commerce - Civil Aeronautics Administration ( fore runner of the FAA ) Washington D.C. title " Civil Air Regulations for Pilots "- as opposed to perhaps " for Carpenters or tug boat captains ??. This is a combo book of the '53 Regulation along with the frugal use of the June 1943 Fundamentals of Flight Manuvers for a total of 158 pages of those great cartoon style depictions of how to fly a lazy eight, or the base to final turn, etc. All of the info still applicable today - except a slight higher approach speed if you have a King Air 600. Great collectors item, worth weeks of hanger flying with your aviation buddies, then home to your collection room. This very well may be the same manual that you learned to fly with. 100% of the cartoon style graphics for the flight instructions are in color, and the orignal color is brilliant and unfaded. There is even a Solo Certificate in the back of the manual that is worth the price of this book alone. |
