This is a Mirafone Model 186 4U 4/4 size four rotary valve professional model tuba. Serial number 13391. Four Rotary action valves. 16 1/2 inch bell has been dented and then straightened. It has good shape, but shows crease marks from repair. Horn plays and sounds great, Great tuba and not ugly :-) The Miraphone 186 Series 4/4 BBb Tuba is the world famous true powerhouse in the tuba world. This Miraphone 186 tuba features a .770 inch bore and 16.5 inch bell designed for excellent projection and intonation. Case is included in rough condition, but still structurally sound.
