This auction is for a Mitchell 499 spinning reel , made in France. The line capacity is approx 500m of 20lb line.
It is right hand wind and has manual pick up, fold away timber handle ( as for Pro), forward drag, spool alarm and anti reverse. It also has a graphite spool with brass bushing as does a Mitchell Pro.
The reel has been serviced and works well. There has been some minor paint touch up around the foot of the reel.
It is ideally suited to surf or boat fishing.
