JSG Cabochons and gems are handcrafted in Narsaq, Greenland. JSG is the primary supplier of gemstones to most of the jewelry shops in Greenland and his carefully selected and polished settings are in great demand. 

Greenlandite, Tugtupite, Nuummite, and other “Greenland Only” gems are rare and sought the world over.  Supply is limited due to the extreme conditions one has to face when mining the raw material for these gems. Many are found in the mountains by the ice pack, only accessable by helicopter.  Tugtupite is found only in the Ilimaussaq Complex, atop a single mountain - supplies are rapidly dissapearing.
