This is a 10.75 inch model kit  of U.S. Army Large Tugboat LT-5. The scale is 3/32"  =  1'  (1 : 128) . The LT-5 tugboats were seagoing tugs with a length of 115 feet with a single screw, diesel propulsion palnt with a speed of 11 knots. During World War II, 210 of these large tugboats were built. The LT-5 was part of the Normandy invasion in June 1944. The LT-5 is completed restored and operational in upstae New York. The kit contains a phoyo of the completed model, drawings, bill of material, construction notes, painting guide and a brief article about the LT-5.  Balsa wood laser cut sheets are included for construction to the bread and butter method.  Also, The name and numbers are included to glue onto the model. The construction is hand made  and consists of cutting images from the balsa wood sheets with a sharp tool.  The images are the "lifts" that form the hull and cabin when stacked together to form the pieces.  Paint and glue are not included.
