About the Artist: Quin Zhang, was born in Liaoning Province in China in 1971. He was born in a family full of artistic atmosphere that his grandfather is a calligrapher and his father is a painter who is good at traditional Chinese landscape painting. So he also hopes himself to be an artist. In 1999 he graduated from LuXun Academy of Fine Arts, Oil Painting Department, MA, currently lives and works in Beijing. After graduated he held his solo exhibition and got excellent achievements. Also he had attended some group exhibitions like Northern China contemporary Art Invitational Show in 2000, Art Basle, Switzerland in 2001 ,Chinese's Photographic Painting, Beijing Art Seasons Gallery, Beijing, China etc.
