Modern Man is one of the best girlie magazines ever published. MM started over 2 years before Playboy and for its nearly 25 year run never copied that magazine like most of the men's magazines from the 1950s and 60s did. MM before the 1970s always had succint, meaty articles on cars, guns and other manly pursuits. Its girlie photo features had crisp, excellent photography with the biggest name models. It wasn't full of advertising and didn't bore its readers with pretentious lessons in philosophy like Playboy. In the years to come the value of these magazines will continue to increase.
