Up for auction today is this mid century modern book holder. The holder is in good condition, but could use a good cleaning (it has the slightest surface rust which will easily come off and has not damaged the surface). It measures 15" long when "closed" and measures about 27" long when "open". It is not marked anywhere I can find. This would look great in your mid century modern house with a piece of Stan Bitters or Beatrice Wood pottery. It looks like it could have been designed by any of the Eames era designers. I have not seen another like this. Please e-mail with questions. Thanks for looking!!!!
