Sweet Lester was created by Ruth Anne Mauer. I don't think Ruth Anne is making bears any longer so Lester is a real treasure as well as a bit of teddy history. He was purchased direct from the artist in 2000 and Lester has decided he would like to see more of the world at this time.
Lester measures 15" tall and is made from mohair with wool felt paw pads. He is poly-pellet stuffed and looks soulfully at you from black glass eyes. Lester is wearing an artist made velvet & tapestry jester hat and neck ruff. Lester is a PERFECT holiday teddy. I don't think Ruth Anne is making teddies any longer - a real loss to the artist bear world.

Bear has been displayed in a closed curio away from direct sun in my smoke free home.  I accept Paypal for payment. I have guesstimated shipping. Should you win auction, I will send an invoice which will have actual shipping costs per zip code or country. As we are downsizing for a move, I would like to consider sales final.
