About the Bead:

*SWEET LITTLE*
Isn't it?

It's not too big,
hence the little,
and Sunflowers  just strike me as a
mighty sweet flower.
All yellow and sunny and all...
And judging by the bees that hung around them all summer,
I think they concur.
But,mostly
every time I look at it,
I say, "what a sweet little bead."
I bet you will too!

Made with layers of  Italian glass,
and custom made bits of glass for the details,
this bead measures 21mm   X 18 mm  wide X 10 mm
The sunflower is left slightly raised for a nice feel.

Wound on a 3/32 mandrel , it has been properly annealed in a digitally controlled kiln,
 and comes to you clean and shiny.
I hope it will bring as much pleasure to you, as it did to me while I made it.

I have been making glass beads for about 6 years now. They are all made by me, Joanne in my  studio in the pines.
 I am a self representing artist.
 I just love making them, but they are beginning to take over my house,so please- buy them, and then I can make more!
