This sits on the picture rail that are usually installed in older homes .

Made of molded brass , it measures just under 1 1/2 " long .

No need to put a hole in the wall. Just slip this over your picture moulding and hang your mirror or picture from the hook .

If they are too shiny for you , heat them up and they will turn a dull brassy black and you can just buff it up a little to highlight the design .
