The item for sell here is; one soft covered catalog titled; “MONTGOMERY WARD & COMPANY NEW YORK. CATALOG NO. 83” 1914, This large edition (9 ½”X 13”) contains 647 pages of beautiful advertisements, illustrations and drawings from cover to cover listing thousands of different consumer items, their descriptions, ordering & shipping, directions and prices. There is some expected damage such as yellowing of pages, tears, corner turns, some creases, etc. the pages are pulp with many in color, the cover is taped on. I have read the cautions on catalogs of this age and I can assure you that this fragile example is no counterfeit. No major markings. Tight and readable, appears complete. Otherwise, Used, Stored and Handled, there are some age related markings here and there. 1416
