Moorcroft lustre coffee pot made by the Moorcroft Pottery company in England

It has a purple lustre finish over a more traditional Moorcroft powder blue glaze.  An elegant piece in very good condition except for four small chips on the edge of the lid.  These are not visible when the lid is in place.

6 1/2" tall to top of lid
and 2 3/4" diameter at the base.

Impressed marks in base as shown below and in photo.

This stamped mark suggests the piece was made after 1949.
