Ride Hard, Ride Smart is a practical, hands-on survival guide for the average motorcyclist. The vast wealth of knowledge and information developed by the motorcycle safety industry is bound into one chapter and one simple concept -- the "three degrees of separation" -- that sets the stage for the rest of the book. The three degrees of separation are riding strategies, training and skills, and protective gear -- the things that separate the rider from death and injury. Hahn rates motorcycle risk and riding on a scale of one to ten, ten being mere moments away from certain death, and one being home safe in bed. Every motorcycle ride falls somewhere in between. Using the three degrees of separation, a rider can get the risk level down to a controllable level, creating the safest possible situation on a moving motorcycle.

Payment is due within 7 days of auctions end. We accept most forms of payment, including Paypal, VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and personal checks. Checks must clear before merchandise is shipped. Credit card orders can also be called in on the phone number provided in the end of auction email.

We strive to ship all books within one business day of receiving your payment.  Most orders are shipped via USPS media mail with delivery confirmation.  Media mail typically takes 7-10 business days to arrive - if your order has not arrived or you have a concern please contact us so we can trace your order.  We are here to help!  We can combine shipping on multiple orders to save money, our typical formula is regular price on the first book, and $1.00 on each additional book purchased.  This formula works for domestic shipping in the USA only.  International bidders please e-mail for shipping costs prior to bidding. Customers interested in priority mail should contact us for a custom quote to your destination. 

Customer satisfaction is our primary concern, we value repeat business and will do everything possible to earn your business.  We strive to accurately describe all books, and if on rare occasion something slips by that does not meet your expectations, we will promptly refund or replace at your discretion.  All books ordered are returnable for any reason within seven days.  If the reason for the return stems from receiving merchandise not as described we will issue a complete refund including postage fees.  If you elect to return an item for any other reason (change your mind, not what you really want etc..) we will issue a full refund less the shipping charges that we paid to send it to you.   Please contact us if you will be returning an item so we can make the appropriate arrangements and help facilitate the return.
