This is for a used Archos 605 wifi 160GB media player plus a DVR station that you can use to record and to output to your TV.

I bought this item largely based on the positive reviews from CNET (Read Reviews) and agree it is a very cool unit and also agree that the battery life is a bit on the short end.

I purchased the unit refurbished directly from Archos about 6 months ago and have never had any problems with it. The reason I am selling is basically because I don't use it very much. I have started converting my music using the FLAC codec - which this player doesn't support - so it doesn't really work with what I want to do. This unit is in excellent condition as I pretty much have always kept and stored the unit on the DVR Docking Station.

This unit has has the latest firmware installed and has both the Cinema and Web Browser plugin installed -  a $60 value.  The player is in excellent condition with no scratches or blemishes on it. I have also placed a ZAGG InvisibleSHIELD screen protector - it's the same stuff that they put on helicopter blades! Find out more about InvisibleSHIELD.  The screen has always had a protector on it and I will send my extra screen solution if you want to remove the screen and put it back on for any reason.

The DVR station comes in the box with the user guide,  an a/c adapter, cables, and the remote control. I have used this station with the 605 to record and to output to the TV. The saddle for the 605 is already snapped onto the DVR station. I've used the unit connected to the DVR station and it records find. I also purchased software called PlayOn that allows the player to show videos from Hulu, Netflix (you would need to have a Netflix account), and YouTube. I also went online and found free add-ons to watch programming from ESPN, Cartoon Network, Food Channel, and South Park Studios. More information about PlayOn.
