From Dicken's novel "The Pickwick Papers" comes this old gent, who traveled about England with members of his scientific club ,getting into all kinds of situations . All's well that ends well, but it surely makes for interesting reading.This Mr. Pickwick is a mid sized jug which is rare and  is quite old as the lion and crown is accompanied only by the A mark and the initials of its painter, hand written.Plain handle.
