This auction is for a Muhammad Ali AUTOGRAPH painted Everlast Glove. This is a pair of nice Everlast 14 ounce boxing gloves, one which is hand painted by Steve Kaufman and hand signed by Muhammad Ali, and another that commemorates Ali's performance in the 1960 Olympic Games, where a young Casius Clay won a gold medal. This is also a limited edition item, hand numbered #29/250 on the signed glove. I had this item authenticated by JSA James Spence Authentication this weekend at the TriStar Houston show, and it has their numbered sticker (# B42370) on the underside of the glove, and a matching full LOA Letter of Authenticity. The LOA will be available within 2 weeks. The autograph is also authenticated by All American Collectibles, with a matching LOA. Also included are two pictures of the private signing done by All American Collectibles showing Ali autographing these gloves.
The AAC LOA states: "This document guarantees the authenticity of the Muhammad Ali limited edition Olympic Authorized glove set. One glove is hand painted by Steve Kaufman nicknamed (SAK) by Andy Warhol. Each set includes one hand painted glove with Muhammad's face silk screened on the front hand signed by Muhammad, on the reverse this glove is signed and numbered by Steve Kaufman. Each glove is individually hand painted, therefore, no two are alike. The other glove has Ali's challengers names and fight outcomes silk-screened on the front. Both gloves proudly display the official Olympic logo."
