Jim Norton , born and raised in Calgary, studied art and glassblowing at the Alberta College of Art and Design.
He produces glass work at Double-Struggle Studio, and during the fall and winter, teaches glassblowing part time at Alberta College of Art and Design.
His glass sculpture, lamps and goblets are exhibited internationally.
Each object is one-of-a-kind. The glass, made from silica sand and soda ash etc., is worked in the molten state at 2000 degrees F, then slowly cooled down to room temperature, polished and signed.No chips or damage never used;only displayed in my showcase.
