Description:

MA1G-4/8 Premisa® broadband multimedia premise amplifiers provides 8 vertically mounted connector outputs, with a single vertical mounted input. The MA1G devices are designed for structured wire home networking application or MDU installations. The amplifier is designed with all connector ports in a vertical position. This allow ease of installation of distributed or home run coaxial cables. This design allows installation in central equipment boxes or lockable interfaces boxes without excessive bending or crimping of the coaxial cables.

Features:

GaAs line amplifier ICs by ANADIGICS®, Very low noise IC devices. Displaying excellent digtal and analogy amplifer parameters.

Provides +4.5dB of forward gain from 54Mhz-1Ghz. Passive return band 5-42Mhz (for proper cable modem operation).

DOCSIS® cable modem compatible.

AC/DC Power Adapter 12.0 volt UL, Class 2 power transformer. CAT B3 6kV 3KA Combination wave on 120vac.

Local DC powering via powering cord with plug-in jack (included). Front mounted light pipe for powering indicator. CAT A3 6kV, 200a ringwave surge protection on the DC input port.

Solderback housing design provides 130dB RFI. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications

Surge withstanding all ports: CAT B3 6kV, 3kA on Input RF port. All other ports 1kV, 200A

Temperature harden capacitors all ports. Operating range -40 to +140 degrees F.

360o crimp gold plated insert F-ports. All ports machined and water sealed to 15 PSI. SCTE compliant to current IPS specifications.

Patent pending magnetic resistant ferrite cores provide excellent digital transport charteristics for video, data and telephony services.
