Here is a rare shot of Bela Lugosi as Murder Legendre entrancing Betty Ross Clarke in the intense Universal horror adaptation Murders in the Rue Morgue (1932). Still is printed on heavier stock characteristic of 1930's-1960's, from the original negative. This is part of a collection of hundreds of stills I will be offering on e-bay. All of these stills were collected between 1968 and 1971, and some have this date stamped on the back. In addition, many have the Theatre Poster Exchange imprint on the reverse. They are all originals, some from the release date of the films, some from their 1950's/1960's TV releases. Many as you will see are extremely rare, and some will be offered at auction on e-bay. Please note that some do have tape on the edge of the borders, but no tape/problems in the image unless noted. All are in very good condition or better. Reverse is pictured in some listings to show stamps or overall excellent condition of these stills. With posters and lobbycards becoming astronomically priced on many of these titles, stills from the original negatives or NSS stills are a great way to obtain original classic monster memorabilia at a reasonable cost. See my e-bay store for more monster memories and rare stills. |
