Museum Artifacts Thom Morris Jr. Golf Portrait Silk Tie

Check out the gorgeous graphics on this tie! This one is truly a breath-taker. The silk is ultra-smooth and soft with a satiny finish. There is a gorgeous portrait of a bearded gentleman in deep greys and blacks standing with his golf club against a gold-green field and cludy silvery-blue sky. measures 3 7/8" wide and is 57" long. On the back the maker label reads "The Museum Artifacts, All Silk", and there are 2 blocks with writing, one says "Thom Morris Jr, St. Andrews Circa 1870", the other reads "Tom Morris Jr 1851-1875 Open Champion 1868, 1869, 1870, 1872. Young Tom Morris was the finest golfer of his time. He won the Open Championship Belt outright by winning three times in succession. He won again in 1872 to become the first winner of the Claret Jug, the present day Open Championship trophy". The tag at the small end shows it is "Hand Made All Silk". Beautiful quality. This tie is NEW, never worn, but no tags. You're going to start alot of conversations with this one. Would make a fantastic gift for the discriminating golfer in your life.
