You are bidding on a NEW 2.5 octave set of professional MUSSER CLASSIC 645 ORCHESTRA BELLS.  Made in the USA by the Ludwig Drum Company.

The bars are made of the highest quality tempered steel, nickel plated with a satin finish, carefully tuned to A-440 and mounted on a special bar mounting system designed to deliver unsurpassed tone, clarity and response.  All bars are 1-1/4 inches wide and 3/8 inches thick.

The bells are mounted in the original wood case which is covered with a pebble surfaced vinyl, free of any scratches, tears, abrasions, rust, mold and  is absolutely pristine. 

Case is fitted with steel hinges (cover can be easily removed) 3 steel latches, steel protective corners (8) and a heavy duty handle.  Examine the pictures very carefully and please contact me with any questions before placing your bid.   The bars are free from all abrasions, scratches, dents, rust, etc.

I am the original owner of this set of bells, having purchased them NEW from Weaver Music Co., Allen Park, MI, with the expectation that I would be doing some free-lance work upon my retirement, which finally occured after 28 years as a High School Director of Bands.  Upon finding another field of employment, I don't have the time or inclination to pursue the hectic life of a free-lance musician and therefore offer this fine set of bells to the highest bidder.  Good Luck!

 This set weighs over 40 pounds and will be shipped in a heavy-duty wood crate, wrapped in corregated cardboard and sealed against moisture with a "tyvek" wrap.  No charge for the packaging and handling.  You will only pay for the actual  cost of shipping and insurance.
