Up for auction is this amazing bronze medal signed by "Escultor J Coelho" on the reverse. The obverse features a fantastic scene of Nativity, with the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph adoring Jesus in relief, with farm animals and other people, and an Angel on the top of the medal with the inscription “Gloria in Excelsis Deo”. This image of Nativity is in fact a reproduction of a real sculpted Nativity by the sculptor Machado de Castro! The reverse features the music sheet for an XVIII century Christmas song in relief.
