This quilt is easy to make! Squares and rectangles make up the top of the block. The 'skirts' are two rectangles sewn right sides together on three sides, then turned and slightly gathered. You catch the dress in the seam when you sew the top to the bottom of the block.
The trim is 100% cotton (hard to find!) and is included in the pattern kit. You'll receive enough trim to make the 9 blocks shown.
The quilt as shown is 48" x 48", but you can make just three blocks vertically and this makes a great size for hanging in smaller places, like on a door.

I have been designing
quilt patterns since 2002. My designs are characterized by ease of
construction, the use of large pieces of fabric, and the use of a
large-scale fabric. My trademark design element is the diagonal line,
which makes all my designs dynamic, interesting, and somewhat different
from traditional quilt patterns. Although I do make use of computer
tools in the process, I start all my designs with pencil sketches in my
notebook, which is a notebook of gridded graph paper. If it can be
drawn on graph paper, it can easily be sewn into a quilt!
Since 2002, I have
designed and written over 30 different quilt pattern titles, of which
over 50,000 copies have been sold. I've also designed original quilts
