This nursing pillow is in excellent condition.  I got two of these as gifts and I only used this one a few times; there are no stains or odors.  It does have a removable case which makes it very easy to wash before using it with your new little one.  The only imperfection to mention is that I cut the "My brest friend" brand tag off (at the seam) as I found it annoying.  This is a great pillow to use with your newborn, it gives much more support than the boppy in my opinion.  Total lifesaver.
