My Ogowe, Being a Narrative of Daily Incidents During Sixteen Years in Equatorial by Robert Hamill Nassau Description: 708 pages. Dark blue cloth with gilt titles on spine. Black & white frontispiece portrait with tissue guard. plus 57 additional black & white illustrations of people and places in There is an interesting inscription on the front endpaper that reads “With the author’s cordial regards, Dec. 18, 1920 with the author’s signature.” Taped below this inscription is a letter to Rev. A. B. Fowler from the author. On the verso of the front cover is another inscription written by Rev. A. B. Fowler that reads, “ Through an address of his given in Condition: Ex Library copy. Library stamp on the verso of the front cover that says “Gift to Buffalo Bible Institute from Dean Fowler.” The book number is penned neatly on the title page, and there is a card pocket pasted inside the back cover. There are two library stickers that have been neatly torn away from the back endpaper. There are occasional notations to the text that seem to be the author’s corrections such as changes in dates, name spellings, and grammar. The binding is tight and sound. Minimal wear at the corners and edges. Gilt on spine is still bright. There are white library numbers penned toward the bottom of the spine.
