Description
Myles Keogh; the Life and Legend of an "Irish Dragoon" in the Seventh Cavalry. John Langellier, Kurt Cox, Brian Pohanka, editors. Montana and the West Series, Vol 9.Upton Books, 1991 edition; 1998 second printing. Hardcover, 11" X 9", 206 pages. Includes recently discovered keepsake photo of Keogh. Of the men who died at the Little Big Horn, Keogh has taken on an importance only to George Custer. Keogh, in many cases is held up as "the Bravest Man", based on Indian oral tradition. Of course, all remember his horse Comanche who was the only 7th Cavalry horse to survive the Little Big Horn Battle. Other horses survived, but were so badly wounded that they had to be destroyed on the field. This book is well annotated and illustrated. This is a brand new book sent direct from the publihser. Some places sell it for as much as $100. Shiping cost is $5, additional books $1 more. The shipping cost has been set by the publisher. Will hold checks for 10 days. No overseas bidders.
