'N' BRASS UNION PACIFIC CHALLENGER GREYHOUND, CLEAN/OB!

 'N' scale brass UNION PACIFIC 4-6-6-4 Challenger that was made in Japan and imported by Key in the U.S. The loco and tender are both painted in the 'Greyhound' scheme of 2-tone gray, black topside highlights, and yellow striping,  yellow lettering, and the cab number is '3977'.
The boiler details are all intact: pilot and pilot deck handrails, headlight housing (no headlight), bell, number boards, twin stacks, whistle, 3 domes, pop valves, generator, rear cab handrails, boiler handrails and stanchions, smoke lifters, pilot truck, trailing truck, drawbar, all drivers, rods, valve gear and screws. There is a tiny nick in the paint on the right corner of the cab roof and there are no other nicks or problems evident in the paint finish or graphics. The metal-work is bright and shows no signs of corrosion. Four of the six drive axles are geared and the cab roof corners are square with no dings. There is very slight track usage on the drivers and truck wheels.
The tender is likewise intact: the oil deck handrails and stanchions, the oil filler hatch, the overflow valve, the water deck railings and stanchions, all 3 water hatches, the back-up light housing (no bulb), both rear ladders, all 4 stirrups, the 2-axle truck, the 5-axle staionary truck, the drawbar pin and the Kadee '1023' operating coupler. There is obvious track usage (dirt) on the tender wheels, but the paint finish ansd graphics are sharp and un-blemished.

Both the loco and tender look terrific and the loco runs smoothly. The original box and foam cut-out are included, and the driver brake shoes are still attached to their sprue and have not been attached. Both loco and tender are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
