N.Y. Bach Trumpet Leadpipe NOS Mt. Vernon

Bach Bb trumpet leadpipe.  This leadpipe is from the N.Y. or early Mt. Vernon period.  It was never mounted on a horn.  "New old stock" There is a small nick on the end of the receiver.  It must have been for a smaller bore Bach... the outer tube measures about .487 inner diameter.  To mount the leadpipe on a ML or L bore trumpet it would be necessary to exchange the outer tube with the existing tube on the trumpet.  There was a lump of solder in the bore where the receiver is attached (maybe this is why the leadpipe was never used?).  I heated up the receiver and wiped out the excess solder with a Q-tip just to make sure that it was not some kind of damage or corrosion.  When the leadpipe is mounted on a horn, I would recommend that the repairman remount the receiver to make sure that it is all clean inside. There can't be many unused N.Y.
