1888 N19 Pirates of the Spanish Main Allen & Ginter Complete Set of 50 Cards

Up for bid is the finest 1888 N19 Pirates of the Spanish Main Set graded by SGC - ranked #1 on Sports Card Guarantee registry! You will receive all the cards listed below and show in the scans.

This set was issue in 1888 and is a very popular Allen & Ginter release. Two of the most interesting things about this series are there is a biography on each card back rather than than a checklist and each card is numbered on the reverse. The fronts feature a bust pose of the featured pirate in a horizontal format. The pirate's name also appears at the top, and the title of the battle scene is printed at the bottom. On the reverse of each card is the title of the series nder itis biographical information. An Allen & Ginter ad is printed below with the card number beneath the at.
