This latex-free mask is considered medium size and will fit most faces.

The Exhalation Valve offers easy exhalation with cool, dry comfort.

When would you need a carbon mask you ask? When you are exposed to excessive hazardous smog, smoke, diesel exhaust, fragrances, newspaper print, particulate matter either at home or travelling. Also, in the event of an airborne biological contaminant, this is the mask you will need.

The carbon filter significantly reduces air-borne pollutants such as BENZENE and SULPHUR DIOXIDE. This filter also reduces lead by 75%, odours by 90% and particulate such as pollen by 95%.  

Carbon is great for odour and organic vapour filtration. This nuisance level carbon mask is perfect for use when painting, woodworking, or working with household cleaning solvents.

PRIMARY USE: FILTERS AIR BEFORE IT IS INHALED THUS PROTECTING WEARER FROM INHALING  AIR BORN INFECTIOUS AGENTS OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. This mask enables the wearer to breath comfortably while looking after others with a known or suspicious infectious airborne droplet nuclei. Will filter out TB bacterium & anthrax spores.

Must be tight fitting to face for personal protection

N95 respirators must be disposed after each use and cannot be cleaned. 

SECONDARY USE: Intended for heavy-duty use and perfect if you're working in a musty, moldy area, brushing your pet, sanding or cleaning house. Mask is reusable under the above secondary uses and is generally good for about 150 hours.

 Important NOTE: Not for use if wearer is infectious as air breathed out will be contaminated thus infecting others.

If a major epidemic, pandemic or biological event occurs, the masks should be properly disposed of or burned as they would be highly contaminated. Fresh masks should be put on if one has traveled through a highly contaminated area. One obviously would have to remove the masks to eat and drink water and great care must be taken when handling the contaminated surface of the respirator.

Healthy people may be at increased risk for serious complications causing Health systems to become overwhelmed. Vaccine probably would not be available in the early stages of a pandemic and would be first available to health care workers and front line workers. Effective antiviral medication may be in a limited supply. If a pandemic hit North America there will be widespread restriction on travel, closure of schools & businesses and cancellation of large public gatherings. You can only imagine the potential of severe impact on our domestic & world economy. We must be prepared to look after ourselves.
