Since the early sixties, NHRA members have received a weekly newspaper, National Dragster. Dealing only with NHRA tracks and NHRA produced events, this is a true house organ. It is also a record of a big part of Drag Racing and an insight into the world of the NHRA. The following tracks
sent a race report for this issue: This is the souvenir event edition for the Bristol TN Springnationals. There are no results from that race in this paper.
Oklahoma City NHRA points meet had a huge field of fuel and gas dragsters with Vic Brown took fuel, top gas went to Dick Moritz.
Myrtle Beach SC NHRA points meet Bobby Wood's Chevelle S/XS won Super Eliminator.
Tulsa OK 8 car TF race won by the Beebe Bros., Irwindale CA Leroy Chadderton went 7.89 with a SBC fuel altered, Limefire Cuda vs Dee Keaton Comet in a FC match race.
The NHRA appointed Harvey Palash's PALASH Agency to handle all TV Radio Film and commercial rights.
LIONS CA Larry Faust in the Jungle 3 car went 7.03, Lebanon Valley NY Motor Burns wins TF, Albuquerque NM Freight Train beats 2 fuelers in match racing, Malfunction Chevy II beats the Flying Farmer blown Mustang in a funny car match race.
Columbus OH top gas, Connecticut Dragway 4 car funny car show, Biloxi MS Super Stock Bonanza, Carlsbad CA new et based racing classification.
San Fernando CA Larry Dixon Sr won TE, ran low ET and top time in his Fireside Inn roadster.
Detroit MI Grand Stock racing, Al Joniec heads up winner, Dave Koffel wins handicap race.
Englishtown NJ Bronco Buster vs Coney Island Ralph's Buick Dealer's funny car.
York US 30 PA Super stock circuit won by Bill Jenkins, Austin TX Mazmanian vs Pittman A/GS match racing.
Stardust Raceway Las Vegas NV A/GS race. York US 30 PA Paula Murphy vs Dave Strickler's injected Corvette funny car.
Cecil County MD Tom Grove vs Brutus in funny car match racing, Aquasco MD Drag Times Jr. Stock race, Salt Lake city UT top fuel, Maple Grove PA Ed Schartman vs Kingfish Cuda in a FC match race.
