Navajo, Zuni & Hopi Sterling Silver work is legendary, with roots in the Spanish colonization of the New World. The Navajo first learned to work Silver as ornamentation for their horses, and over time became masters at the art of combining Turquoise, Coral, shell and Sterling Silver in many forms.

The skills were handed down from parents to son or daughter and across tribal lines through marriage to the Zuni, Hopi and Pueblo people.
