I have found a more dense foam for needle felting that will last longer and doesn't bounce around as much.

The foam measures 6" x 8" x 2" thick and is a great quality of foam. All needle felting is done on a piece of thick foam. It is necessary to place foam under the fabric or knit surface, you are attaching a needle felted design to. This foam is a great quality and great size for most needle felting projects.
