These electric motors you see running in these videos have to be the simplest motors that can be made.

Do not drill or cut. You might break your magnet. It is extremely hard and brittle.

 These two pictures are of a magnet on a two x four.  I like these magnets because they have a hole in them so I can screw them to a rafter or stud in my shop or garage and hang small tools.  These are not strong like the neodymium, but I put them to good use.

There is an allen wrench hanging on this magnet.  Allen wrenches will not hang on a nail.  Ordinarily, allen wrenches get thrown into a box.  Hang them onto a rafter or a stud.  Then you can see what your selection is.

We use to have a problem with mail laying around different places, just waiting to be mailed. Maybe it was on a desk and it got knocked off, or it was laying where it was not noticed.

We do not have that problem anymore. We have a magnet on our metal front door. Everyone puts their mail under that magnet. It is secure. Will not get knocked off or misplaced.

The first one that goes out the front door grabs the mail and takes it to the post office on the way to where ever they are going.

I sometimes work on tools or equipment in the backyard, and if I drop a small part in the grass as often happens, it is almost impossible to find it, but you can drag your magnet around the area and you will invariably find your small part.

I use magnets in my shop. I put one on top of my drill press, so I can just pitch my chuck key in the general direction of the magnet and it will be there the next time I need it.

I also put some drill bits that I frequently use on this same magnet. That way they are always in sight. I do not have to go digging and hunting for a drill bit.

If I lay my chuck key on my workbench, I probably will not find it this month. Since it is always hanging on the magnet on top of my drill press, I never have to wonder where it is.

I do the same with the chuck key to my lathe. It is a fairly large chuck key, but I put a magnet on the lathe and my chuck key is always on the magnet, always handily in sight and easy reach.

I put magnets on some of the rafters and studs in my shop, and I hang special tools on them.

Drive a nail into a rafter. Stick one of these magnets to the nail, then hang a wrench, chuck key, screwdriver or other tool that weighs less than 4 or 5 lbs.

Ever try to hang an allen wrench on a nail. No, you ordinarily just throw it into a box or drawer, and then cannot find the right one.

Hang an allen wrench on one of these magnets and it will be readily visible and easy to find.

Many chuck keys and tools will not hang on a hook. Open end wrenches do not readily hang on a hook or a nail, but they will always hang on a magnet.

You can hang a good sized ratchet wrench from one of these magnets.

Many mechanics and tool repairmen keep a magnet on their workbench to keep parts from being lost from their bench.

You can put your parts in a bowl or a bucket, but the bowl or bucket will probably get turned over and the parts will scatter.

Use a magnet and this will not happen.

If the headliner falls down in your car or pickup, these magnets will hold it up.

Find studs in your house with a magnet.

Even these small magnets can pinch you.
