The
SVP HDDV-1500 delivers quality, up
to 11.0MP interpolated resolution images with
a High End "One of the Best In The World" 1/2.5" Live MOS
Sensor, and the ability to produce images that are suitable for printing
at sizes larger than 8x10 inches. Record Full Featured Color Videos
and share them with friends and family. The Oversized 2.4"
Full COLOR
TFT LCD monitor allows you to see the images and examine them in detail
before and after you take a photo or video. An autoflash sensor automatically
detects lighting conditions and determines whether the flash should be
used or not. The internal 16 MB of memory allows
for storage of images without the use of an external card, however the
HDDV-1500 is expandable using a SD Secure Digital up to 16GB with the
built in memory card slot. Download the images to your computer using
the included USB cable, enhance, and retouch them with the included easy
to use editing software thats included, or any other image editing software.
 At
the heart of the HDDV-1500 is a sophisticated 1/2.5" 5M Live CMOS
sensor. Drawing on MOS signal amplification technology but using a simpler
structure, this advanced sensor combineds the superb image quality of
a CCD sensor with the low power consumption of a CMOS sensor. It's molded
as a single unit onto a flexible circuit board, so both the number of
signal exchanges and the contact resistance from wiring are reduced. Also,
an advanced process technology with low-voltage drive reduces heat and
noise while improving the image quality provided by the Live View fuction.

is Face Detection Technology?
The Face
Detection Technology built into the new
SVP HDDV-1500 digital camera is a selectable option user can enable
whenever human subjects are the focal point of a picture. Once Face Detection
is activated, it automatically identifies faces in the scene and prioritizes
them -- in as little as fraction of a second. It displays a rectangle
around the top-priority face(s) before the picture is taken. Using this
information, the SVP HDDV-1500 is able to
focus more precisely on the main subjects and execute the best possible
exposure. The end result is sharper, more natural looking people pictures-beautiful
pictures anyone can take...
The
Face Detection Technology will
automatically focus on the person(s) rather than subjects in the background
or objects that aren't catergorized as human recongizeable in the foreground.
Since the FDT is so advanced that it will automatically provide the best
possible focus. No more dark, underexposed faces just because the light
source is in the background behind the subjects or the background is too
bright or too dark or even out-of-focus. The FDT is also intergrated with
the built-in intelligent flash system. Together, it delivers accurate
flash exposures hence better and more beautiful image rendering. The FDT
system identifies the priority subject and calculates its distance from
the camera then send digital information to the central processing engine
to determine all systems sensor and monitor settings and finalize the
best image capture parameters possible. If you are looking for a digital

advanced Electronic Image Stabilizing technology (EIS). Like all stabilization
mechanisms, EIS attempts to eliminate the slight jitters and twitches
that arise from a shaky hand. The EIS is top-notch, adding noticeable
stability at all focal lengths.
The
HDDV-1500 uses innovative technologies to
reduce the risk of camera shake when taking still or video images. Electronic
Image Stabilization (EIS) smoothes out motion eliminating choppy looking
videos, and gives you cleaner looking movies. Image Stabilization Technology
(ISH) adjusts for movement to eliminate blurry digital pictures the that
arise from a shaky hand, and makes it easier to frame shots when using
higher zoom levels. It also allows you to shoot in low light situations
that would normally be too dark for stable handheld shooting.
