Violins are available in 8 different sizes: 4/4 (also called full size), 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/10, 1/16 and 1/32. Size 4/4 is the biggest and size 1/32 is the smallest. All adults, regardless of their size, use the size 4/4 violin.

To measure what size violin best suits you, you need to know the length between your neck and the middle of your left-hand palm (when your hand is fully extended and raised perpendicular to your body, just like holding a violin). Most of the teachers prefer students to use the length from the neck to the wrist for measurement instead of the neck to mid-palm approach. The violin size determined by the neck/wrist approach would be the size that is more comfortable for students to hold. The violin size determined by the neck/mid-palm approach would be the biggest size students should use.

If you have a teacher, you should ask for your teacher's recommendation. If you don't have a teacher, we would recommend using the neck/wrist approach for students not using full size; for students who are deciding whether to used size 3/4 or size 4/4, use the neck/mid-palm approach. This is because it is always better those students feeling comfortable holding and playing the violin. However, while deciding between size 3/4 and size 4/4, if neck/mid-palm approach allows for size 4/4, then buying a size 4/4 is more economical since you don't have to buy another bigger size violin later. This is completely based on economical consideration. You should still decide what best suits your need.

FREE shipping is eligible for most shipments to lower 48 states of USA via UPS Ground only. We ship from our warehouse in CA either on the same day or the following business days after receipt of payment. UPS guarantee ground delivery in 6 business days within lower 48 states. However, we recommend you allow 14 days for delivery especially during holiday seasons. UPS ship to physical address only. Please verify with UPS if your address is deliverable.
Outside of US 48 states: There is additional charge for orders ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands..., etc.), PO Boxes, military addresses (APO/FPO) and international addresses, please contact us at 1-877-262-8880 for quotes before placing bids (We may use different carrier such as USPS). All shipping and handling fees do not include custom duty or local taxes.
Expedited shipping: UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS 3 Day Select are available with additional shipping and handling fee, please also contact us for quotes before placing bids.
Restocking fee: All return items are subject to a $19.99 of restocking fees or reshipping and handling fee
  • Returned items: it is the buyer's responsibility to send the item back at their own cost regardless of reason of returns. We will refund the item price less $19.99 restocking fee for all returns

Return Policy
We guarantee that all our items are as described and 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed. If a refund is desired, please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You must return the package in its original packaging and condition within 30 days of receipt. If the item is purchased with free shipping, please refer to our FREE shipping terms and conditions. They are subject to a $19.99 restocking fee. For orders that are charged shipping and handling, we will only refund the item price less listed shipping and handling. Due to the nature of online business and the unbeatable deals we offer, restocking fees OR shipping and handling fees are non-refundable in any circumstances. NO EXCEPTION!!! Additionally, you will be responsible for the shipping costs when returning the merchandise. An RMA number MUST be visible on the returned package. Damage/Exchange Policy
All exchanges must be returned in its original condition except damage upon arrival
Damage upon arrival: If you have received a package damaged upon arrival, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt and retain all original packaging (including the original corrugated box). We will request digital pictures of the damage item for reference, and arrange FREE replacement after we receive the pictures.
Discrepancies: If you have received incorrect merchandise or merchandise with missing parts and/or accessories, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt. We will arrange the FREE replacement.
Purchased a wrong item: If you have discovered that you have purchased an incorrect merchandise, color, size, or simply want to upgrade to another item, you may return it in its original packaging and condition for exchange within 15 days of receipt.
