4" NPT (US) fittings so you can use your regular hoses on it. Most other
sellers on eBay do not have the National Pipe Thread US fittings, but have metric instead. So when you put
your hose on, you have to cut the end off and put a hose clamp on the hose to
hold it on to the pump. Not with this pump, it is ready to pump water out and is
EPA and CARB approved. This means it is held to the highest standards and meets
California high emission standards, along with the rest of the United States
standards for motors. Don't be fooled into buying a junk water pump for the same
